Men's Domestic Violence Program

This provides a forum for men to eliminate or reduce violent and controlling behaviours.

The program is run by Relationships Australia on contract to the Department of Corrective Services only for clients mandated by the courts.

There are 12 groups across the metropolitan area from Mandurah to Joondalup and Maddington.

Clients attend for six months in two-hour weekly sessions covering topics such as

  • non-violence
  • non-threatening behaviour
  • respect
  • support and trust
  • honesty and accountability
  • sexual respect
  • partnership
  • negotiation and fairness

All our staff have a counselling, social work or psychology background.
