We offer programs, at no charge, for men, women, young people and children who have experienced or seen abuse in their families or in their relationships.

For children
For children and young people aged 5 to 15 FAIR offers groups where they can explore their experiences in a supportive environment. The groups generally run for 6-8 weeks. The groups provide a safe space that allows children to explore their experiences with others. The aim is to improve resilience, encourage social interaction and to strengthen relationships with caring adults, other children and their wider community.

For women
FAIR offers groups to support those who have experienced or are currently experiencing violence and/or abuse in their intimate or family relationships. FAIR groups for women run for 10 weeks, and provide a safe and respectful environment for women to explore their experiences. The aim is to support women while they make informed choices about their lives, by providing a greater understanding of resources and options available, and by challenging the power, control and gender issues inherent in violent and abusive relationships. The groups also help reduce isolation, improve social networks and identify options for current and future safety.

For men
FAIR offers a 24-week group for those who have been violent and/or abusive in an intimate and/or family relationship. The group provides a respectful environment that enables men to explore how they use violent and controlling behaviours in their family relationships, and to understand the impact that these behaviours have on others. The aim is encourage men to develop new ways of knowing themselves and others; to take responsibility for their behaviour; and to be accountable for their behaviour to their partner and/or children.
