Being a sole parent can be very challenging and today there are more Dads who find themselves by choice or otherwise as the primary carer or at least with substantial responsibility for the care of their children.

In this 3 week course we will be discussing and providing tips on –
  • comparing the traditional role of fathering with this new, more expanded view of parenting
  • how do I relate to the children given this new situation
  • maintaining a personal life
  • balancing home and work commitments
  • maintaining a positive relationship with the children’s mother
  • a range of parenting styles
  • recognising when I need to ask for help.
